This is the second post about NYC. In this I will show you a selection of photos from Manhattan. Above and below is The Brooklyn Bridge which looms majestically over New York City’s East River, linking the two boroughs of Manhattan and Brooklyn. The bridge took 14 years to build and was ready in 1883.
Streetphoto from Columbus Circle which offers many nice shops and restaurants, located at the eight avenue on Broadway. Time Warner Center, the world headquarters of the Time Warner corporation, is located on the west side of Columbus Circle on the site of the old New York Coliseum. The complex also hosts Jazz at Lincoln Center, the New York City studio headquarters of CNN and the Mandarin Oriental, New York hotel.
View from Central Park – one of the most famous sightseeing spots in New York. Central Park, which has been a National Historic Landmark since 1962, was designed by landscape architect and writer Frederick Law Olmsted and the English architect Calvert Vaux in 1858 after winning a design competition.
